It is something which most of us have a difficult time getting enough of.

That’s right! Toasted pumpkin seeds are not only tasty; they contain tons of fiber, which will leave you feeling more satisfied (and less guilty) than you would feel after eating all of that candy!

Toasted pumpkin seeds contain a compound called L-tryptophan, which is said to naturally improve your mood as well as provide a defense against depression.

Directions for Toasting Pumpkin Seeds:

  • Preheat oven to 450.
  • Rinse of pumpkin seeds in cold water.

  • On a lined baking sheet, spread pumpkin seeds evenly.
  • Bake at 400-450 degrees for 15-20 minutes, or until tops of seeds are slightly browned.
